Standard Features

EFFICIENT COIL EVAPORATOR

The evaporator inside the tank uses copper tubes and aluminum fins for efficient heat transfer with reduced ambient heat gain. This results in higher possible flow rates, fewer pressure drops and reliable, energy-efficient operation.

R-410A REFRIGERANT

High-efficiency, chlorine and bromine free refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential. R-410A is the new standard in power efficiency and environmental impact in Europe, the United States and Japan.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR OPERATION

The powder-coated unit features standard IP44 protection against water and debris for 1.5- and 2-ton chillers, with IP54 protection standard for units larger than 3 tons. Optional adaptations for hot and cold outdoor environments are also available, along with full-function remote control panels (optional).

HERMETIC SCROLL COMPRESSORS

Orbiting hermetic scrolls are mounted on anti-vibration dampers for efficient, quiet operation with fewer moving parts. The compressors also feature protection against overheating, excessive current and high exhaust temperatures.

NON-FERROUS WATER CIRCUIT

Copper and stainless steel components — water tank, pump and exchanger — resist corrosion, even in pure water mixes.

LARGE COLD-WATER TANK

Vs. comparable chillers from other manufacturers. The larger tank allows a larger temperature buffer during uneven cooling loads. The pump and tank are in a single integrated unit, which minimizes unit footprint and install time.

Dixell VICX 620 remote panel allows for full-function access in outdoor applications or centralized control/monitoring setups

CLOSED/PRESSURIZED AUTO-FILL TANK

Automatic filling feature maintains fluid levels and allows for pressurized systems

OPEN/ATMOSPHERIC EXPANSION TANK

A top-open tank that allows for easy manual refilling

GLYCOL AUTO-FILL KIT

Maintains glycol levels in closed pressurized systems. Glycol is used in some systems as an anti-freezing tool and a corrosion inhibitor

PUMP UPGRADES

P3 (43 psig) pump is standard; P5 (72 psig) available with Unit 015 and larger; P3+P3 and P5+P5, dual-pump setups with automatic switching, is also available in 201+

SUPERVISOR CONTROLS

RS485 Modbus, xWEB300D, and xWEB300D+GPRS Supervisor controls.
